Handmade Poems and Poem-Objects
One of my interests is the overlap between poetry and visual art. I have made and exhibited a few poem-objects in the form of papier-maché bowls and painted eggboxes.

I collaborated with the artist Sally Davies on "Clear Sky" Anticyclone: Winter published in Leisure Centre Issue 8 and moves outwards, an artist's book project for the Study Gallery.

I made an illuminated poem in celebration of William Blake's 250th. You can find out about the anthology in which it's printed here.

London Word Festival commissioned a series of postcard poems from 4 poets living in 4 European cities. The resulting collaboration is partially documented at the Permanent Tourist blog and hopefully scans of all the postcards will be online soon.

Collaborations in Sculpture and Music
Composer Ian Wilson used one of my poems in a 9-movement choral and orchestral work called Harbouring. Performed in Wexford, Ireland, 5th and 6th June 08.

I was commissioned by sculptor David Annand to write a poem for a new work entitled 'Ribs'. Unveiled in Poole, 14th August 08. It's 2 minutes' walk from the train station.

Radio
My major radio project of the last 6 months has been Interior Traces. Please visit the website to find out more about this series of dramas about brain imaging and its effects on society.

I was an occasional presenter of Penned in the Margins, a weekly radio show on London's Resonance 104.4fm (Show currently off air)
